The Pocket Surfer is a thin/sleek handheld device: Delivering the power of a monster-server in the palm of your hand.

Fast, anytime, anywhere access: A unique wireless web access solution that boosts wireless throughput by a factor of more than 10X.

The real web in the palm of your hand anytime & anywhere: An ultra thin device that fits in your pocket. The PocketSurfer works everywhere. The PocketSurfer works anywhere your cell-phone gets a signal.Your PocketSurfer provides access to your information, the way you are accustomed to it on the web, with no new learning curve.

Wireless cellular networks are plagued by limited bandwidth, and even with next-generation networks, data carries a lower priority than voice. DataWind's technology accelerates the delivery of web-pages by factors of 10X to 30X, without any change in network infrastructure.

While other products deliver web pages in as much 3 to 4 minutes across cellular networks, Splash consistently delivers pages in less than 10 seconds .

With next-generation packet networks, the cost to the carrier, and hence the consumer is no longer the amount of time spent online, but instead the number of packets (megabytes of bandwidth) consumed. Packet networks optimize bandwidth usage by bundling and parsing multiples of channels to deliver a more enhanced experience.

Splash's solution consumes significantly less bandwidth, thereby creating savings for both the carrier and the customer. A customer can easily save over 200MB in bandwidth with the Splash solution, in 20 hours of usage over a month -- which could result in R200 to R600 in carrier data charges.

The PocketSurfer works everywhere your cell-phone works. Splash's solution is network agnostic, and will work on past, current and future networks, providing the broadest coverage of any handheld web device. While other products are limited to next-generation 2.5G and 3G networks, with limited coverage -- the Splash Web Viewer will deliver a faster, richer experience on 2G networks, than most devices can on even 3G networks.
